Michelle Houghtaling, P.E., LEED AP – Principal-in-Charge

 

Michelle has spent more than 30 years in the HVAC design of heating/chilled water plants, laboratories, computer/server rooms, healthcare, and commercial, institutional, and educational building’s support utilities. Her experience designing projects for both the public and private sectors imparts a real understanding of how each project needs to be managed for success from schematic design through construction.

John Yost, CBCP – Director of Commissioning Services

 

John has worked for more than three decades in the HVAC construction business and has considerable experience in commissioning, plant operations and project management. He has provided commissioning services for several million square feet of building space. John is skilled in providing all aspects of building commissioning services, including writing commissioning specifications, developing commissioning plans, and implementing commissioning strategies.

Elysia Connors – Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator

 

Elysia’s responsibilities include spearheading all marketing and public outreach efforts as well as supporting the needs of both the design and commissioning departments. In addition, Elysia participates in business development meetings and generates content for various proposals.

James McFee – CAD Manager

 

James works closely with multiple engineers and designers to coordinate drafting of accurate drawing packages. James also possesses a vast knowledge of both AutoCAD and Revit.

Amanda Hammell, EIT – Senior Electrical Designer

 

Amanda is skilled in all phases of the design of electrical systems, including power, lighting, security, intrusion, fire alarm, nurse call and communication systems, as well as field investigations, project coordination and construction administration. For almost two decades, she has designed various building types and systems, completed building electrical engineering designs in both the private and public sectors, and has been responsible for planning, preparing estimates, and completing project designs and specifications.

Ryan Smith, P.E. – Mechanical Engineer

 

Ryan’s responsibilities include conducting site verifications and field surveys, as well as performing construction observations. Ryan possesses vast experience with the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional and large-scale residential buildings from schematic design through occupancy. He has also assisted in NYSERDA and LEED analysis and documentation.

Justine Aloise, P.E. – Commissioning Associate & Mechanical Engineer

Justine serves a unique dual role. Many days she can be found monitoring progress and performing tests in the field for the commissioning department, while other days are spent in the office working with our staff PEs to develop mechanical designs.
